Nicki O'Clarey

is a teacher of the Franklin-Method® and a Pilates teacher with BCPA for over 6 years.

As a keen sports person; Nicki came to Pilates with an ill-conditioned spine and recurring injuries. Pilates provided the foundation support that had been missing for many years. The Franklin Method broadened her understanding of movement in general and provided a means to analyse movement patterns and increase movement potential through imagery.

Nicki has a passion for anatomy and how the design of the human body facilitates its unique movement. She works with a broad range of clients: at a complementary health centre in Cambridge where most of her work is muscular skeletal rehabilitation. She also runs a variety of Pilates mat classes (inlcuding Classic Mat) and works with a gravity reformer.

She believes you teach what you want to learn - and that people who are attracted to her classes are drawn to her because they are looking for the same path: a way for effortless and efficient movement in a balanced body.

Ramona Peoples

is a movement teacher in Pilates and the Franklin-Method®. Her approach to movement is driven by a desire to understand the design of the human body and its biomechanics. In her teaching she aims to translate this understanding into imagery and touch to support movement.

Ramona studied with the Body Control Pilates® Academy in Pilates matwork and is certified by Polestar® Pilates UK to teach Pilates on equipment. She has completed 3 years of studies of the Franklin-Method® in Uster, Switzerland. She incorporates the method into her teaching of movement with very positive responses from her clients.

Ramona's client base covers a broad spectrum: in an alternative health centre and a physiotherapy clinic her work focuses on muscular skeletal rehabilitation. She works in a Pilates studio where she teaches Pilates on equipment. She has also worked in a women's health centre where she has taught pre-natal and post-natal classes. She teaches regular matwork classes in local sports and community centres and has worked for corporate clients in the past.

Ramona is a Polestar® Pilates Mentor, assisting students working toward their final exam for the Polestar® ‘Studio Series’, a Pilates equipment training course. She is also a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, which lays down a code of practice to ensure professional standards of teaching, including client's safety & comfort and continuous education.
